Some moms from our Third Order started with this initiative, read their letter:
We are a women’s group who unite each month to pray for the holiness and perseverance of religious and for an increase of vocations.
We gather during forty continuous hours throughout the 14th, 15th and 16th of each month offering an hour of prayer. Everyone is able to register online the desired hour to offer. If possible, we are asking that this hour of prayer be made in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. However, one is able to offer prayers from home or even from work if going to the Church is not an option. (A mom could even elevate her soul while working for an hour offering it for this intention.)
Our desire is that all mothers, sisters and families of consecrated religious- including those who desire to have religious vocations among their children, can unite themselves and offer their prayers.
This idea was born following the example of a group of mothers in Lu Monferrato, a little town in Italy. This women, desiring some of their children to become religious, united in prayer to ask God for this intention. Their prayers were heard and the town was blessed with more than three hundred vocations.
We ask that you write to firstname.lastname@example.org in order to stay connected and are able to receive the monthly invitation to register for the 40 hours.
We ask the intercession of the mothers of Lu Monferrato to protect these forty hours of prayer every month.
United in Prayer,

“Lord Jesus, You have taught us what is the key for vocations when you said: ‘Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest’, so we pray, give us holy, numerous and perseverant vocations. The Virgin is with us! Amen”.
