Dear All,
On October 6th, by the grace of God we were able to travel to Germany and participate in the Holy Mass that was celebrated on behalf of the possession of the Sanctuary “Mariahilf en Neumarkt op der Oberpfalz” by the IVE Fathers Martín Villagrán, William Duraney and Tobias Eibl.
When we arrived on Thursday around six in the evening, Father Martín told us a little bit about the history of the Sanctuary and the sacristan explained about the Church. A beautiful detail of God‘s Providence was that the patron feast of this Sanctuary coincides with the principal feast of our Religious Family of the Incarnate Word, the Solemnity of the Annunciation on March 25th. The image of the Virgin on the main altar is a piece done which represents the Most Holy Virgin with a child. On the ceiling, one can see different frescos that refer to Our Lady, which focused in on the Annunciation, the Nativity and the Ascension. 
On Friday, October 7th, the day in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary, Bishop Gregor Maria Hanke, OSB presided the Holy Mass which was also celebrated by various priests of the diocese and by IVE priests who had come all the way from Italy, Scotland, Holland and Berlin. In his homily, the bishop thanked the fathers for their presence in the Sanctuary and showed his great joy that a religious community will be able to make this place a center of spirituality to receive pilgrims, families, youth, etc.
We thank God for this new apostolate entrusted to our religious family, and we ask for prayers for the IVE fathers present in this country.

We also want to take advantage of this occasion to announce the activities that will be carried out in the Sanctuary of Mariahilf (Family Days, Youth Festivals, and the Spiritual Exercises according to Saint Ignatius of Loyola). Here are the dates:

14th January: Family Day
19-22nd January: Ignatius Exercises for Men
2-5th February: Ignatius Exercises for Women
11th February: Youth Day
